Custom Cabinetry | Newmanstown, PA | Full-Time

Join a Company Where Craftsmanship Still Matters

Since 1959, Kountry Kraft has built a reputation for exceptional custom cabinetry, combining skilled craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and an uncompromising commitment to quality.

As a second-generation, family-owned company, we believe our people are just as important as the products we build. We are looking for an Estimator who enjoys working with details, solving problems, and turning ideas and specifications into accurate, well-planned cabinetry solutions.

About the Role

The Estimator plays an important role in supporting our sales team, dealers, designers, and customers by developing accurate cabinetry estimates, drawings, and project details.

This position requires someone who can look beyond a list of cabinets and understand the entire project—interpreting plans and specifications, identifying missing information, developing accurate pricing, and helping determine how a custom cabinetry project can best be built.

You will work closely with Sales, Design, Order Processing, and other members of the Kountry Kraft team to help move projects from concept toward production.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare accurate estimates and quotations for custom cabinetry projects.
  • Review architectural plans, drawings, specifications, and customer-provided information.
  • Develop cabinetry layouts and drawings using company design software.
  • Create floor plans, elevations, perspectives, and cabinetry details as needed.
  • Interpret customer and designer requirements and translate them into workable cabinetry solutions.
  • Identify missing, conflicting, or unclear information before a quotation is completed.
  • Work with the sales team to develop pricing and project details for prospective orders.
  • Assist in determining appropriate cabinetry construction, materials, finishes, accessories, and special requirements.
  • Help develop solutions that achieve the desired design while remaining mindful of the customer’s budget.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Order Processing to ensure information is accurate and complete.
  • Communicate questions and potential issues clearly so they can be resolved early in the process.
  • Maintain organized and accurate project documentation.
  • Support presentations, drawings, and other sales-related project needs when required.

What Makes You Successful

You don’t have to know every answer immediately—but you should enjoy figuring things out.

Our strongest Estimator will be someone who:

  • Has exceptional attention to detail.
  • Enjoys working with numbers, drawings, dimensions, and specifications.
  • Can visualize how cabinetry will fit and function within a space.
  • Understands that accuracy early in the process prevents problems later.
  • Is comfortable asking questions when information is incomplete.
  • Can manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Communicate effectively with salespeople, designers, dealers, and internal departments.
  • Takes ownership of a project and follows it through to completion.
  • Enjoy problem-solving and working with custom products where every project can be different.
  • Takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.

Preferred Experience

Experience within the cabinetry, woodworking, kitchen & bath, millwork, architectural products, construction, or building-products industries is strongly preferred.

Additional experience that would be valuable includes:

  • Cabinet estimating or quoting
  • Kitchen and bath design
  • Reading architectural drawings and blueprints
  • CAD or cabinet-design software
  • Custom cabinetry construction
  • Interior design or drafting
  • Construction estimating
  • Microsoft Office and related business software

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional education in drafting, design, construction, architecture, engineering technology, or a related field is a plus.

Why Kountry Kraft?

At Kountry Kraft, you aren’t estimating a commodity product. Every project is made to order, and the details matter.

You’ll be part of a company that cares:

  • Family-owned values and a long-term approach to our business
  • Exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail
  • Industry-leading custom capabilities
  • Teamwork and collaboration across departments
  • Continuous improvement in how we serve our customers
  • Investment in our people
  • Products you’ll be proud to put your name behind

We believe in building long-term careers—not just filling positions.
